Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) has successfully completed a Mark-III Flex Mock-Up, certified by Gaztransport et Technigaz (GTT), France. The shipyard is now licensed by GTT to build LNG ships for any client worldwide using its patented membrane containment system known as Mark-III. CSL is the first Indian shipyard to obtain this licence from GTT. The shipyard has successfully completed the GTT qualification process, including various training schemes and membrane tank mock-up installation at its yard in Cochin.
