IndiGo has received the first of the 430 A320neo aircraft it had ordered on March 11, 2016. The airline will induct 24 aircraft by March 2017. The first of these aircraft was slated for delivery in December 2015; however, there was a delay owing to technical reasons. Meanwhile, IndiGo has also entered into leases for seven used A320 aircraft to be inducted between March 2016 and November 2016.
