Flipkart has acquired Bengaluru-based mobile payments company PhonePe. However, the financial details of the acquisition have not been disclosed. PhonePe is building a unified payments interface-based product. The interface will allow users to carry out transactions using their unique identification and mobile phone number or their virtual payments address without sharing any other bank details.
