The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved a loan of $175 million to Mytrah Energies (India) Limited (MEIL). MEIL will utilise the proceeds of the loan for the development of wind and solar power projects in the country including wind projects in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka, with combined capacity of 476 MW, and solar photovoltaic (PV) projects in Telangana and Punjab with aggregate capacity of 100 MW.
