Lalitpur Power Generation Company Limited (LPGCL) has commissioned the third 660 MW unit of the 1,980 MW Lalitpur coal-based power plant at Bundelkhand in Uttar Pradesh. With this, the plant stands fully commissioned. BHEL was the primary contractor for the project. LPGCL is a special purpose vehicle of Bajaj Hindustan Limited for setting up the TPP.
