Reliance Jio Infocomm plans raising Rs 7.5 billion via NCDs

Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited (RJIL) is planning to raise Rs 7.5 billion through the issuance of redeemable NCDs on a private placement basis. In April 2016, RJIL had floated a debenture issue of up to Rs 22.5 billion. Earlier, in May 2015, the company had raised about Rs 45 billion from a consortium backed by the Korea Trade Insurance Corporation to buy telecom equipment from Samsung Electronics and Ace Technologies.
