Kamarajar Port Limited signs agreement with IOCL for development of captive jetty

Kamarajar Port Limited (KPL) has signed a concession agreement with Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) for the development of a captive jetty at the port. The project will be developed at an estimated cost of Rs 4.65 billion, which will be borne entirely by IOCL. KPL will carry out capital dredging at an estimated cost of Rs 750 million. The project involves the construction of a 3 mtpa captive jetty to handle petroleum, oil and lubricants and liquefied petroleum gas cargo.
