Miyapur-SR Nagar stretch of the Hyderabad Metro Rail Project to receive safety clearance soon

The Miyapur-SR Nagar stretch (Stage 2) of the Hyderabad Metro Rail Project, Phase I, in Andhra Pradesh is likely to receive safety clearance from the Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety (CMRS) by September 2016. Currently, trial runs on the stretch are being conducted. Meanwhile, the CMRS has already granted safety clearance to the Nagole-Mettuguda stretch (Stage 1) of the project. The stretch is likely to be commissioned soon. The Hyderabad metro rail project comprises three corridors – the Miyapur-L.B. Nagar corridor (Corridor I), the Jubilee bus station-Falaknuma corridor (Corridor II) and the Nagole-Hitec City corridor (Corridor III).
