The Ministry of Railways (MoR) has received an interim report for five high speed rail (HSR) projects – the Delhi-Mumbai, Mumbai-Chennai, Delhi-Kolkata, Delhi-Nagpur and Mumbai-Nagpur corridors. The High Speed Rail Corporation has been formed to undertake feasibility studies and techno-economic investigations as well as prepare detailed project reports (DPRs) of selected corridors for the introduction of high speed trains.
