The cabinet has granted ex-post facto approval for the MoU signed between the Airports Authority of India (AAI) and the Singapore Cooperation Enterprise for operating and managing the terminal buildings of Jaipur and Ahmedabad airports. Singapore nominated Changi Airport for the project. AAI will continue to manage the city side and airside of both airports. The MoU, signed in November 2015, aims to establish mutual cooperation in areas such as traffic development, commercial development, master planning and design, training and development, cargo handling, and management among others. This cooperation will be extended to other airports with mutual consent.
