NHAI has issued a letter of award to the JV of APCO Infratech Limited and Chetak Enterprises Limited for the implementation of Package II of the Delhi-Meerut expressway project (NH-24). The bid project cost is Rs 19.89 billion. Package II of the project involves six/eight-laning of the Uttar Pradesh border-Dasna road stretch of NH-24 from km 8.36 to km 27.74 km (Hapur bypass) in Uttar Pradesh. The scope of work for this package includes the construction of a six-lane expressway, four lanes on either side, 19.28 km of cycle tracks, one flyover, two major bridges, one minor bridge, one railway overbridge, 12 vehicular underpasses and six pedestrian underpasses.
