Construction commenced at Vizhinjam international transshipment project

The Kerala government has inaugurated the construction of the first berth of the international transshipment project at Vizhinjam. The project involves the development of the state’s first deep-water container transshipment port with a draught of 20.5 metres. In the first phase, an 800 metre long berth will be constructed.
