Idea claims 100 per cent compliance with EMF norms in its first-ever sustainability report

In its first-ever sustainability report, Idea Cellular has claimed 100 per cent compliance with norms governing electromagnetic field radiations in 2016. Further, the report, which is aligned to GRI-G4 international standards of sustainability reporting, claims that 19 per cent of Idea’s telecom towers operate on hybrid power. Meanwhile, the report also outlines a comprehensive roadmap and the operator targets up to fiscal year 2021.
