MoS announces reforms for cruise tourism industry

The Ministry of Shipping (MoS) along with the Ministry of Tourism has announced reforms to the regulatory process governing the cruise tourism industry. The key recommendations include a single-window system for all pre-cruise requirements for cruise operators, such as the entry of vehicles, personnel and guides electronically, doing away with checking of registration and licence papers of vehicles each time, the creation of a dedicated approach road, among others.
