The Kerala government has allotted Rs 1.29 billion to Kochi city as central assistance for projects to be implemented under AMRUT. Of this amount, Rs 530.1 million (about 41 per cent) has been allotted for water supply projects, while Rs 387.8 million and Rs 219.3 million have been allotted for sewerage schemes and drainage projects respectively.
