The Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) has launched the trading of energy saving certificates (ESCerts) under the Ministry of Power‘s Perform, Achieve and Trade scheme. ESCert trading will enable industry players to buy and sell ESCerts at the Indian Energy Exchange (IEX) and Power Exchange India Limited. About 10,904 ESCerts were sold at Rs 1,200 per ESCert on the first day of trading at the IEX.
