Central government flags off third Mahamana Express between Varanasi and Vadodara

The central government has launched the Vadodara-Varanasi Mahamana Express train. There are two Mahamana Express trains in service already, one each on the Varanasi-New Delhi and Bhopal-Khajuraho routes. The distinguishing features of the superfast express series trains include modular panels without visible screws, minimum maintenance hatches inside passenger areas for better safety and aesthetics, ergonomically designed ladders for climbing up to upper berths, e-beam cables and polyamide conduits for enhanced electrical and fire safety, LED lighting and the provision of fire extinguishers in all coaches.
