The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (MoPNG) has stated that India will build a natural gas trading platform, which will lead to transparent pricing and encourage investment in the sector. The proposal for setting up a natural gas exchange will be submitted to the cabinet soon. Once it is set up, the platform will help boost gas consumption in the country.
