The MoRTH plans to digitise the land acquisition process by end-November 2017, in order to reduce the time taken for it by three-four months. The website designed by the National Informatics Centre for this purpose will be named Bhoomiraashi, and it will host digital details of land of more than 645,000 revenue villages across 668 districts. This will be the one-point platform for online processing of land acquisition and notifications.
