New cross-border train launched between India and Bangladesh

The central government has launched a new cross-border train between India and Bangladesh,  the Kolkata-Khulna Bandhan Express, while also inaugurating two bridges – the second Bhairab bridge and the Titas bridge in Bangladesh – and an international rail passenger terminus offering end-to-end immigration and customs clearance facilities for the passengers of the Maitree Express and the Bandhan Express at the Kolkata station.
