Indian ports handled 560.98 mt of traffic during April-January 2017-18

During the first 10 months (April-January) of the current fiscal year (2017-18), Indian major ports handled 560.98 mt of traffic, compared to the 536.42 mt handled in the corresponding period of 2016-17, registering an increase of 4.58 per cent. Deendayal port (erstwhile Kandla port) handled the maximum traffic at 88.47 mt, followed by Paradip port (72.9 mt) and Mumbai port (52.95 mt).
