DoT asks operators and ISPs to vacate 3300-3400 MHz band identified for 5G

DoT has asked operators and internet service providers such as Bharti Airtel and Tata Communications, and corporations such as IOCL and ONGC to vacate the spectrum they hold in the 3300-3400 MHz band as this will be used for providing 5G services. DoT stated that the aforementioned band would be sold in the next round of auctions and has given the companies six months to vacate the spectrum and migrate to other bands.
