Andhra Pradesh cabinet approves the provision of concession for implementation of Kakinada SEZ

The Andhra Pradesh cabinet has approved the provision of a concession to Kakinada SEZ Limited for the implementation of the Kakinada special economic zone project. The government will receive a 2.7 per cent share of the revenue (on gross revenue) from the commercial operation date of the project. Additional infrastructure such as roads, water supply and power supply, entailing an investment of Rs 2 billion, will be provided for development of the port area.
