The MoP in consultation with the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy has notified the renewable purchase obligation (RPO) trajectory for all states and union territories from 2019-20 to 2021-22. Accordingly, the solar RPOs for 2019-20, 2020-21 and 2021-22 are 7.25 per cent, 8.75 per cent and 10.5 per cent respectively. The corresponding figures for non-solar RPOs are 10.25 per cent, 10.25 per cent and 10.5 per cent respectively.
