Vistara has signed a deal worth over $340 million with GE Aviation for purchasing the latter’s GEnx-1B engines for its Boeing 787 fleet. The engines will be used for the six B787-9 (Dreamliner) aircraft, the contract for which was recently placed with Boeing, besides additional purchase rights of four more aircraft. The engines are expected to be delivered to Vistara between 2020 and 2021.
