The Lajpat Nagar-Mayur Vihar Pocket 1 stretch under Phase III of the Delhi metro project has commenced commercial operations. The 9.7 km stretch is a part of the Majlis Park-Shiv Vihar corridor and consists of five stations (two elevated and three underground). With the opening of this section, the entire Delhi metro network comprises 327 km with 236 stations.
