The Kempegowda international airport at Bengaluru has successfully launched the ambitious Digi Yatra programme – a fully biometric-based self-boarding solution for passengers. The airport has partnered with Vistara to launch One-ID, a biometric platform technology developed by Vision-Box, to enable passengers to pass through the airport seamlessly. To begin with, passengers travelling on Vistara flight UK864 from Bengaluru to Mumbai can use the process without presenting travel documents at every touchpoint. Thereafter, all Vistara flights are expected to be integrated with the biometric boarding system.
