RITES Limited has shortlisted three companies for the processing of satellite imagery along the proposed alignment of the Hubli-Ankola-Madgoan section of the DFC (southern corridor) project. These are TriCAD Design Consultants Private Limited, Matrix Geo Solution Private Limited and Pan India Consultants Private Limited. Bids for the project were invited in January 2016. The project involves the development of DFC length of 890 km in Tamil Nadu and Goa. The project was proposed in 2013 and RITES was appointed for conducting the feasibility study. The corridor will cover four states – Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Goa. The project is yet to receive approval from the respective state governments and the central government.
