TRAI has stated that it will conduct the next drive tests for ascertaining the quality of operators’ networks in April 2016. The regulator has further stated that more cities will be covered in the next round. TRAI had recently published the results of the random drive tests conducted in seven cities between December 2015 and January 2016. Most operators failed to show a significant improvement in the call drop situation in these tests.
